Furuichi Mounded Tomb Group

This mounded tomb group is located in the southeastern part of Osaka Prefecture.

For 150 years from the second half of the 4th century to the first half of the 6th century, more than 130 mounded tombs in total, including 7 keyhole mounded tombs whose mound length exceeded 200 m, were constructed.

The mounded tombs in the group are characterized by their wide variety of shapes and sizes, which represent the social statuses of buried persons.
