Length of each side of the mound: 30 m
This is one of the small mounded tombs that constitute the Furuichi Mounded Tomb Group. Cylindrical haniwa (earthenware funerary figures) have been excavated in the tomb.
As one of the rare, invaluable tombs whose mound fully remains, the tomb was designated nationally as a Historic Site in 2014.
