Excavated artifacts: Cylindrical haniwa (earthenware funerary figure), and representational haniwa, such as house-shaped, shield-shaped, and sunshade-shaped haniwa

Due to digging and removing of earth and erosion by water in the moat, the shape of the first tier of the mound has been greatly changed, but the mound originally had three tiers.
