This mounded tomb is located in almost the center of the Furuichi Mounded Tomb Group.
This tomb is supervised by the Imperial Household Agency.
Around the tomb were four square mounded tombs (Nonaka Mounded Tomb, Mukouhakayama Mounded Tomb, Joganjiyama Mounded Tomb, and Nishihakayama Mounded Tomb).
