Length of each side of the mound: 36 m (Nakayamazuka/Yashimazuka: 50 m)
This is one of the three square mounded tombs located on the south side of the Mausoleum of Empress Nakatsuhime.
The three tombs are called the Mitsuzuka Mounded Tombs. From west, they are called Suketayama, Nakayamazuka, and Yashimazuka, respectively.
One large shura and one small shura (wooden sleds), along with one lever stick for the sleds, have been unearthed between Yashimazuka and Nakayamazuka.
