Golden-Rain Tree

This tree is designated as a natural monument of Osaka Prefecture.
It is said that the tree came up from the sutra mound in which Sugawara Michizane buried the Mahayana Sutras.
It is believed that if you make a Buddhist rosary of seeds from the tree and recite a prayer to the Buddha 1 million times, you can go to Paradise(Heaven).
