Karakuni Shrine

This shrine is listed as a prestigious shrine in the Engishiki (Japanese book about laws and customs), established in the early 10th century.
The original purpose of establishing the shrine was to worship the ancestral deities of the Mononobe clan.
Surrounded by lush greenery, the shrine’s long approach to the main hall has been selected as one of the best green spots in Osaka Prefecture.
